Vice President welcomes Australian guests
(VNA) - Vice State President Truong My Hoa has expressed her hope for further cooperation between the Australian Political Exchange Council (APEC) and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
While receiving an APEC delegation, led by Rachel Genevieve Nolan, in Ha Noi on April 18, Vice President Hoa praised the regular exchanges between the two organisations over the past 10 years. She said that they have contributed to promoting mutual understanding between the two peoples, especially the youths.
She also spoke highly of the young generation's contributions to each country's development.
Rachel Nolan said she was impressed by the Vietnamese people and land as well as the country's achievements in economic reform. She also expressed her admiration of the Vietnamese women's contributions to national construction and defence./.
