(VNA): Mexican Ambassador Federico Urruchua Durand was presented with a "for peace and friendship among nations" honour by the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) at a ceremony in Ha Noi on June 3 before ending his mission in Viet Nam.

During the event, Vu Xuan Hong, VUFO President, said that the honour was made in recognition of Ambassador Federico Urruchua Durand's contributions to developing the cooperative and friendly relations between Viet Nam and Mexico.

The Mexican Ambassador expressed his thanks and pride in receiving the precious award. He affirmed he would continue to contribute to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two nations.
