(VNA) - Three ships, KD Sri Indera Sakti, MV Fajar Samudera and KD Jerong, of the Malaysian Navy anchored in Ho Chi Minh City's port on August 15, beginning a friendship visit to the city.
Right after the welcoming ceremony, commanders and crewmen of the ships laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh's monument, and paid courtesy visits to the city's leaders, the Command of Military Zone 7 and Viet Nam's Naval Command.
During the visit, the Malaysian naval officers will take part in a friendly volleyball competition and visit some historical sites in the city.
