Viet Nam assures Qatar of good conditions for investment
Khiem's talks with Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabor Al-Thani, whose full titles are the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar, focused on measures to boost investment, trade and labour exports between the two countries.
During the talks, the Qatar delegation expressed interest in large-scale investment in Viet Nam.
The two sides affirmed their intensions to expand friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with each other and expressed belief that these ties would usher in a new stage of development.
During his three-day visit which is due to end on Jan. 30, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
He and his party also met with Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc as well as executives from leading businesses to discuss opportunities to enhance cooperation in the future.
