Deputy PM Khiem, who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke highly of ADB's assistance to and cooperation with the country, particularly the bank's commitments at a recent Consultative Group Meeting.
For his part, Greenwood hailed Viet Nam as a good example in managing the development results, adding that relations between ADB and Viet Nam is now at an important time.
The ADB official hoped that Viet Nam's recent revisions to regulations on official development assistance (ODA) management will not affect donors' work, and that the country will make use of its position and role to boost regional and sub-regional cooperation, especially in the expanded Mekong sub-region and the East-West Economic Corridor.- VNA
