Vietnam-Korean cultural festival to be launched
A Vietnam-Korean cultural festival named “Mid-autumn 2007” will be launched from September 21 to 23 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. In particular, an exhibition, a part of the programme, will last until December 2007.
The event will include various activities depicting Vietnamese and Korean culture such as skills to make mid-autumn cakes of the Koreans, traditional and folk dances and games.
This is a good chance for Vietnamese people to explore the similarities and differences between the mid-autumn festivals of the two countries.
The programme will be held by the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Korean National Folk Museum with the support of the Korean Cultural Centre under the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam-Korean culture exchange centre.
The event will also draw the participation of many artists, teachers, artisans, students, news agencies and televisions of the two countries.(Quan doi Nhan dan, Laodong)
