Nation promotes seafood exports to South America
The Viet Nam Association for Seafood Export and Processing (VASEP) will send a delegation to Brazil and Chile from September 14-24 to conduct market research on the South American markets.
During its trip to the countries, the delegation will work with seafood import agencies to study the regulations and standards needed for Viet Nam to export to the markets.
A seminar on Viet Nam's seafood products which is expected to draw the participation of the South American countries' functional agencies, seafood importers and mass media, will also be run by the association.
During the fact-finding trip, which is part of the 2007 national trade promotion programme, the delegation will attend the Seafood Expo Latin America 2007 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. (VNECONOMY, Vietnam Agency)
