Friendship association helps foster ties with Mongolia
The Vietnam - Mongolia Friendship Association pledged to continue its bridge role in boosting the friendship and cooperation between the two countries at its congress held in Hanoi on December 7.
The congress also adopted measures to boost the efficiency of its work for the 2007-2012 term, focusing on diversifying its activities with more practical approach.
Over the past years, it has held such activities as friendship meetings, exchanges of delegations and information.
The association has helped boost the mutual understandings between people of the two countries and provide Vietnamese businesses with better information of the Mongolian market.
The congress elected the new executive committee for the six-year term, which is chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Ho Xuan Hung. (CPV/VNA)
