Vietnam, China to complete land border demarcation in time
HCM City (VNA) – Vietnam and China have vowed to exert more efforts to complete land border demarcation and landmark planting along their common borderline in 2008 as agreed by high-ranking leaders of the two countries.
At the 25 th chairman-level session of the Viet Nam-China Joint Committee for Land Border Demarcation and Landmark Planting in Ho Chi Minh City on April 7-17, the two sides discussed solutions to existing issues in border demarcation and landmark planting in order to complete the fieldwork by late June.
The two sides agreed to hold the 26 th chairman-level session of the joint committee in China in May, 2008.
