Vietnam, Mozambique to work together in fighting crime
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam and Mozambique have agreed to increase meetings and visits at all levels to share experiences in fighting international terrorism, organised crime and drug trafficking.
Minister of Public Security General Le Hong Anh and Mozambican Minister of the Interior Jose Condugua Antonio Pacheco discussed the issues when they met in Hanoi on April 18.
The two sides informed each other of security matters in their own countries and agreed on cooperation prospects in the spirit of the joint statement signed on April 6, 2008, during Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh’s visit to Mozambique .
Both sides also pledged to create favourable conditions for their citizens who are legally studying, living and working in Vietnam and Mozambique.
