Founding anniversary of DPRK army celebrated
Hanoi (VNA) – Democratic People’s Public of Korea (DPRK) Ambassador Ma Chol Su and Military Attache Choe Je Hon hosted a reception in Hanoi on April 24 to mark the 76 th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army.
Ambassador Su outlined the history of the People’s Army of his country over the past 76 years and highlighted traditional cooperation between the armies of the DPRK and Vietnam .
The diplomat said the DPRK People’s Army always attaches great importance on consolidating and developing the traditional relations it has with the Vietnamese People’s Army.
Addressing the function, National Defense Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Nguyen Huy Hieu congratulated the DPRK People’s Army for the occasion and said he believed the two sides’ efforts would help boost the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Ministries of National Defense, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world at large.
