Party member praises contributions by overseas Vietnamese
Berlin (VNA) – A senior Party member said the Vietnamese in Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany have made marked contributions to the construction and development of their homeland.
Hoang Xuan Cu, member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies, spoke to Vietnamese communities during his visits to the three European countries from May 22 to June 2.
While meeting with the Vietnamese societies and students in Russia , the Czech Republic and Germany, Cu said overseas Vietnamese have helped boost friendship between Vietnam and their adopted countries.
He spoke highly of the Vietnamese communities’ cultural and economic activities, including ones to assist one another to stabilise lives and work and preserve cultural tradition and national identity.
During the meetings, overseas Vietnamese proposed for the Party’s and the State’s policies to help them better integrate into the foreign societies and contribute to national development.-
