Party leader welcomes Mozambique Prime Minister
Hanoi (VNA) – Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh on June 6 received Prime Minister of Mozambique Luisa Dias Diogo, on a visit to Vietnam for the 18 th Global Summit of Women.
PM Luisa Diogo briefed the Party leader of Mozambique ’s current situation and the contents of her working sessions with Vietnamese leaders and the results of the 18 th Global Summit of Women in Hanoi .
She said Mozambique hoped to further promote friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states, people and women’s organisations of the two countries.
General Secretary Manh said that the Party, State and people of Vietnam would continue to develop friendship, solidarity and cooperation with the State and people of Mozambique for the benefits of the two peoples, for peace, cooperation and development in Southeast Asia, Africa and the world.
He affirmed that Vietnam is ready to share experience with Mozambique in the areas of Mozambique ’s interest, particularly in agricultural development, health care, education and training, sciences and technology, and poverty alleviation.
General Secretary Manh renewed his invitation to President of the FRELIMO party and also President of Mozambique Armando Emillio Guebuza to visit Vietnam.
