Hanoi (VNA) – Ahn Tae Sung, press attache of the Republic of Korea Embassy in Vietnam , was awarded the insignia “For peace and friendship between nations” on June 10.
The insignia, the highest distinction from the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), was in recognition for Ahn Tae Sung’s contributions to the two countries’ cooperation, particularly in culture and education.

During his three-year term in Vietnam , Ahn Tae Sung helped to organise a number of activities to boost bilateral relations, including celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties, and a RoK film week in Vietnam .

He also helped to search scholarships for Vietnamese students and gave Korean language lectures on Hanoi Television.
