Vietnam-Cambodia border’s new markers


Tay Ninh (VNA) – Vietnam’s southern Tay Ninh province and Cambodia ’s Kampong Cham province began construction of their shared border markers on July 15.

The marker No. 131 was the first to be installed along the two countries’ border this year and the third built in Tay Ninh province.

According to the Tay Ninh border demarcation steering board, 35 more border markers will be built on the border running through Tay Ninh province by the year’s end.

By 2012, Tay Ninh will house a total of 108 border markers in accordance with the plan agreed by the two governments.
