Vietnam, Laos enhance bilateral cooperation
Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Phu Trong received a delegation of the Lao National Assembly Committee for Culture and Social Affairs led by its Chairman Douangdy Outthachak.
NA Chairman Trong praised the delegation’s visit as a contribution to promoting solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and legislative bodies.
It is imperative for the two NAs and their committees to share experience and implement all agreements signed between them especially during the process of enhancing NA renovation activities, Mr Trong said.
On the occasion, Mr Trong praised the achievements made by the Lao people and extended his best regards to Lao leaders.
For his part, Mr Outthachak said his delegation’s visit will provide an important foundation for the further strengthening of cooperation and effective implementation of the agreements signed by leaders from the two countries. (VOV)
