Vietnam- Belarus association holds congress
Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam – Belarus Friendship Association (VBFA) has elected Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Danh Vinh as its president for the 2008-2013 period.
The VBPA’s 2 nd National Congress in Hanoi on October 4 also chosen a new executive committee, standing committee, secretariat as well as vice presidents.
The congress was attended by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisation President Vu Xuan Hong and Belorussian ambassador to Vietnam Alexander Kutselai as well as 200 representatives.
The VBFA was established in 1997 and has members in both Vietnam and Belarus.
