Vietnamese, Norwegian journalists share experiences

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA) led by VJA Vice President Le Quoc Trung paid a week-long visit to Norway ending on Oct. 6.

During their stay abroad, the journalists met for working sessions with Norwegian press agencies, including the Norwegian Press Association, the Association of Editors, the Press Complaints Commission, the Fund for Investigative Journalism and the Oslo University ’s Press and Library Faculty.

The Vietnamese journalists and their European colleagues exchanged views on several topics concerning their working principles, such as professional ethics, training of editors and journalists, access to information, press complaints, and investigative journalism.

They also discussed ways to accelerate the cooperation between the two countries’ journalists.
