Ukrainian minister extends condolences over riverboat tragedy
Hanoi (VNA) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ogryzko has sent a message of condolences to his Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem, regarding the recent riverboat accident that resulted in the tragic deaths of 42 people in the central province of Quang Binh .
The accident occurred on the morning of January 25, the last day of the Year of the Rat when the boat, carrying around 80 passengers, capsized.
