Vietnam, UK ratify deal on prisoner transfer
VNA - 21/08/2009 Vietnam and the UK on August 21 exchanged documents on ratification of an agreement on the transfer of prisoners, which was signed on Sept. 12, 2008 in Hanoi.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Thanh Son and Ambassador Mark Andrew Geoffrey Kent signed the documents on the exchange.
The two sides said that the agreement contributes to boosting cooperation between judiciary agencies in the two countries and serves as a milestone in their cooperation in combating crime./.
