Officer from Singaporean Defence Ministry visits VN
VNA28/10/2009 - Defence Minister Phung Quang Thanh received Permanent Secretary of the Singaporean Defence Ministry, Chiang Chie Foo, in Hanoi on Oct. 28.
General Phung Quang Thanh welcomed Chiang Chie Foo’s visit to Vietnam, which, he said, contributed to increasing mutual understanding and friendship between the two military forces and people.
The Singaporean guest informed his host of his talks with Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh on the second Vietnam-Singapore defence policy dialogue.
During his stay in Vietnam, Permanent Secretary Chiang Chie Foo worked with the Vietnam People’s Army Navy High Command and visited the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy and Ha Long Bay./.
