Czech leaders praise relations with Vietnam

VNA 01/02/2010 - Leaders of the Czech Republic have spoken highly of the development of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam at their receptions given to outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador Vuong Thua Phong.

President Vaclav Klaus, Prime Minister Jan Ficsher, President of the Senate Premysl Sobotka and Chairman of the House of Representatives Miloslav Vlcek expressed their pleasure at the exchanges of visits by high-ranking delegations and the expansion of economic and trade ties between the two countries while receiving the Vietnamese diplomat.

The two sides showed their satisfaction at the increased cooperation in national defence-security, education and training, culture exchange and development as well as the effective cooperation in international arena between the two nations.

The Vietnamese ambassador thanked the Czech leaders for their positive comments on the Vietnamese community living and studying in the European country.

He also expressed his belief that under the assistance of the Czech leaders and authorities, the Vietnamese community will overcome difficulties for further development and contribute more to boosting bilateral relations./.
