US ambassador for ASEAN affairs visits Vietnam |

VNA 08/02/2010 - The US’s Deputy Assistance Secretary for East Asia and Pacific-cum-Ambassador for ASEAN Affairs Scot Marciel paid a working visit to Vietnam from February 4-8.

During his stay in Vietnam, he was received by Minister-Head of the Governmental Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc and met with leaders of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Security to discuss the relations between Vietnam and the US as well as between, the US and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regarding regional and international issues of mutual concern./.
