Moscow Deputy Mayor visits Hanoi
VNA 22/02/2010 - Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai received a delegation from Moscow , Russia , led by the city’s First Deputy Mayor Vladimir Resin in Hanoi on February 22.
Deputy PM Hai said he was pleased with the results of a working session between the Russian delegation and its Vietnamese counterpart regarding the building of cultural and trade centres in the two capital cities.
The meeting covered Moscow and its experiences in building underground traffic works. Deputy PM Hai expressed his wish for stronger cooperation in transportation between Moscow and Hanoi , especially in the context of Hanoi ’s urban expansion.
For his part, the Moscow Deputy Mayor affirmed that his city will try its best to help Hanoi kick off construction on the Hanoi House in Moscow this May and is also ready to cooperate in Hanoi ’s planning of underground traffic works in the coming time./.
