Vietnam, RoK boost lawmaking cooperation

VNA 18/03/2010 - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has affirmed Vietnam ’s consistent policy of boosting strategic cooperation with the Republic of Korea (RoK) in all fields, including lawmaking.

While receiving RoK Minister of Government Legislation Lee Seog Yeon in Hanoi on March 18, PM Dung said that the two governments should continue speeding up the sharing of experiences in building and perfecting legal institutions.

The two sides also need to further strengthen cooperation in legal reforms, he added.

The Government leader expressed his wish for a complete legal system that facilitates the development of the country’s market-oriented economy.

For his part, Minister Lee said he believed the Vietnam-RoK relationship will yield more achievements in the spirit of strategic cooperation agreed upon by the two countries’ leaders and expressed the wish to share his country’s lawmaking experiences with Vietnam.

Showing his attention to Vietnam ’s preparations for the millennium celebration of the capital city of Hanoi , Lee said that the RoK side will actively participate in organising cultural exchange activities marking this important event./.
