PM Dung vows to boost ties with Thailand

VNA 21/03/2011 - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung pledged to do his utmost to boost comprehensive relations with Thailand during his reception of the incoming Thai Ambassador Anusone Chinvano, in Hanoi on March 21.

The Government leader said Vietnam would provide the best possible conditions for Thai businesses in Vietnam to help them make profits and engage in long-term businesses.

Vietnam will work together with Thailand to fully tap the potential and advantages of each other in the interest of development in both countries, Dung emphasised.

He also expressed an expectation for the Thai ambassador to work closely with Vietnamese authorities in deploying programmes of cooperation under high-level commitments.

For his part, the new Thai ambassador pledged to do his best to promote cooperation in economics, investment, trade and culture between the two countries./.
