The same day, the delegation held an exchange with war invalids and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers.

Earlier on July 22, they paid tribute to fallen combatants at the provincial martyrs’ cemetery.

At the closing ceremony, representatives of dozens of local businesses presented gifts to families who rendered their service for the country’s revolution.

This programme offered OV youths a chance to find out about the country’s traditions, share experience in study and life as well as and improve their Vietnamese language skills through social activities in response to the Vietnam Youth Year 2011.

Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs Nguyen Thanh Son said that over the past time, the young people visited over 10 cities and provinces nationwide and learned about historical relics, culture, and traditions and customs of localities./.
