Vice National Assembly Chairwoman receives Chairman of Irish National Parliament Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade
Breen, who is on a five-day working visit to Viet Nam beginning on Sept. 12, made this statement to Vice National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan at a reception in Ha Noi on Sept. 12.
He said the Irish Government would continue to effectively implement assistance projects in Viet Nam, in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, education and unexploded ordnance clearance.
Vice NA Chairwoman Ngan thanked the Irish Government for its official development assistance (ODA) capital in national construction and development.
The two sides should exchange experience and boost relationship between the two countries’ MPs, consolidating and enhancing mutual understanding and trust, to further promote multifaceted bilateral cooperation, she said.
The NA leader added that both sides should increase investment and promote trade to match the two countries’ potentials./.
