Congratulations to Finland’s new President
(VGP – 07/02/2012) - State President Truong Tan Sang on Tuesday extended his congratulations to Mr. Sauli Niinisto upon his election as the President of Finland.
The former finance minister won Finland’s Presidential Election on Sunday and will become the country’s first conservative head of state in five decades.
President Sauli Niinisto took 63 percent of the votes, compared to 37 percent for his rival, Greens candidate Pekka Haavisto.
