Viet Nam stands ready to shake hands with Ukraine in lifting the bilateral ties to a new height and assist the European country in boosting linkages with other ASEAN member states.

The Vietnamese Government chief proposed that the two sides should early finalize a free trade agreement and that Ukraine should open door for made-in-Viet Nam products to enter in.

Ukraine, said Mr. Konstyantyn Hryshchenko, always treasures ties with Viet Nam, especially in the areas of energy, mechanic assembly, and science-technology and hopes to receive more support from Viet Nam at regional and international forums in the spirit of mutual cooperation and understanding./.
