Three UNDP-funded projects approved
VNGOP – The PM today, December 24, gave nods to three projects financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) during the period of 2006-2010: "Supports for analyzing financial policies" granted with US $3.5 million; "Capacity increasing for the Việt Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations" with US $1.25 million; and "Supports for making reports on the realization of millennium development goals in 2008 and 2010" with US $736,000.
The corresponding capital will be allocated by the implementers, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Việt Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) respectively, from their annual budgets under the Law on State Budget.
The PM assigned the three agencies to draft, assess, approve and sign the Annual Working Programs (AWP) in line with the process to harmonize the management and implementation of the approved overall plans and cooperation projects with the UN organizations.
