Israeli puppeteers call at AO victims in Ha Noi
Ha Noi (VNA) – A delegation of Israeli puppet artists, on February 18, called at and presented gifts to child-victims of Agent Orange/dioxin at the Hoa Binh Village in Ha Noi.
The artists from the Train Puppet Theatre are in Ha Noi to participate in the International Puppet Festival which will run from February 16-23.
This is the first time Israeli puppeteers to perform in Viet Nam . They will introduce their show, called “Dreaming animals,” at the Children’s Palace on February 20.
The Train Puppet Theatre is one of the most important artistic institutions on puppetry in Israel . Its leader, director Dalia Yaffe-Maayan, has made great contributions to promoting stage arts for children, especially underprivileged ones.
