France’s localities wish to expand cooperation with HCM City
HCM City (VNA) – Representatives from France’s Rhone Alpes, Lyon and Codatu, and chambers of commerce of Lyon, Paris , Touraine and Vacluse expressed wishes to expand cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City .
The French representatives, who are in the city to attend the France Week, were meeting with Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan on April 10. They agreed to increase French business circle’s involvement in the city economic development.
Cooperation between Rhone Alpes region and HCM City is expected to be boosted with agreements, which will be signed during the “Ho Chi Minh City Days in Rhone Alpes in June.
Le Hoang Quan affirmed that the France Week in Ho Chi Minh City was an opportunity for the two sides to boost mutual understanding and cooperation in many fields.
He expressed his hope that economic and trade relations between Vietnam and France , particularly his city and France ’s localities will be developed.
