Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange held in Hai Duong
A Vietnam-Japan cultural and artistic exchange took place in northern Hai Duong province on September 6 to mark the 35 th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
Hai Duong (VNA) – Attending the event were Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba, Cultural Counsellor Furudate Seiki and an art troupe from Hachioji city, located to the west of Tokyo, who performed dances and songs popular among Vietnamese people.
During the exchange, Hai Duong leaders and Japanese guests shared experiences in socio-economic development, helping further develop the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Local students also had a chance to learn Ikebana flower arrangement techniques from famous artisan Kaoru Naka.
On September 7, the Japanese delegation visited the Chu Dau Pottery Village and several landscapes in the province.
