Vietnam supports regional economic integration
Vietnam supports the East Asian region’s economic integration process, affirmed a Vietnamese diplomat at the second East Asia Trade Forum in Beijing on September 28.
Beijing (VNA) – Addressing the event, counsellor of the Vietnamese Embassy in China Vo Ca reiterated Vietnam’s policy to welcome and create favourable conditions for regional and international businessmen and investors to come to the country.
The forum, held by the China International Trade Promotion Committee in collaboration with the Chinese side in the China-ASEAN Secretariat, drew nearly 200 delegates from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea and 10 member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
Participants discussed regional economic and trade situation. They agreed that regional economies need to enhance cooperation, expand mutual investment, improve regional competitiveness, promote trade and investment facilitation in the region and boost equal and win-win cooperation.
