Japan funds schools in Dien Bien province

US$74,198 will be used to build a one-storey primary school in Dien Bien Phu City and US$86,000 will be spent on building a two-storey high school and a boarding house for students in the Muong Ang district of Dien Bien province.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Hanoi on June 23, the Japanese ambassador to Vietnam, Mitsuo Sakaba, expressed his hope that these projects will help to improve children‘s education in the region and strengthen the friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Japan.
