Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to visit Thailand and co-chair the 3rd Viet Nam – Thailand Joint-Cabinet Retreat

At the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Spouse will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand in 23 July 2015. During the visit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will co-chair the 3rd Viet Nam – Thailand Joint-cabinet Retreat.
The visit is aimed at consolidating and strengthening Viet Nam – Thailand Strategic Partnership in all cooperation areas, particularly politics, security,  defense, economics, trade, investment, and labor, as well as promoting cooperation between the two countries at regional and sub-regional cooperation mechanisms.
During the visit, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay a courtesy call on Her Royal Highness Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, attend the Viet Nam – Thailand business dialogue, and meet with the Vietnamese community in Thailand.


Answering the question regarding Viet Nam’s response to the “historic” agreement on Iran’s nuclear program reached between Iran and the P5+1, MOFA Spokesperson Le Hai Binh stated:

“Viet Nam welcomes the efforts of concerned parties in reaching a comprehensive agreement between Iran and the P5+1 on Iran’s nuclear program on 14 July 2015.

We consider this as a significant and positive contribution to stability and security of the region and the world”./.
