Regarding China's Anti-secession Law
ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENTS BY MR. LE DZUNG, THE SPOKESMAN
OF THE VIETNAMESE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS ON 16th MARCH 2005
Vietnam's consistent position is to persistently pursue the "one-China" policy. Taiwan is a part of China. Vietnam protests Taiwan's activities for independence and shares the aspiration for national unification of the Chinese people. Vietnam fully supports the efforts by the Government and the people of China to perseveringly bring about peaceful national unification and maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Straits.
