Question : Please give Vietnam's oppinion on the press release of the Human Rights Watch on Dec. 6, 2005, to call Vietnam to stop attacks on Mr.Hoang Minh Chinh. Is Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh in danger ?

In accordance with his family's desire, Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh was facilitated to go to the U.S for medical treatment.

During his time in the U.S, Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh made wrongful and distorting statements about the situation in Vietnam, which caused resentment among the public in Vietnam. When Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh returned to Vietnam, some people came directly to protest Mr. Chinh's statements. However, there are no such things called « attacks » to Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh. Mr. Hoang Minh Chinh is not facing any danger./.
