ANSWERS QUESTION ON 28th JANUARY 2008
On 28 January, 2008, in response to questions by correspondents concerning Vietnam’s comment on the news that Mr. Suharto, former President of Indonesia, passed away on 27 January 2008, the Spokesman of Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Le Dung stated:
We would like to extend our condolences to the family of Mr.Suharto, former President of Indonesia, the Government and the Indonesian people.
During his terms, President Suharto led the Indonesian people to obtain many achievements in national construction and development, maintain and promote the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Indonesia and Viet Nam as well as the development of ASEAN.
We would like to extend our condolences to the family of Mr.Suharto, former President of Indonesia, the Government and the Indonesian people.
