Vietnam congratulates H.E. Mr. Naoto Kan on his election as Japanese Prime Minister
In response to the media question regarding Vietnam's reaction to the election of Mr. Naoto Kan as Japan Prime Minister, Foreign Spokeswoman Nguyen Phuong Nga on June 4th, 2010 said:
The Government and people of Vietnam warmly congratule H.E. Mr. Naoto Kan on his election as the Prime Minister of Japan.
It is our strong belief that under his leadership, Japan will maintain its prosperity, the strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia between Vietnam and Japan will continue fine developments in all fields, meeting the aspirations and interests of the two peoples, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.”
