Regarding the launching of Satellite Kwangmyongsong-3 by the DPRK
In response to question from the media regarding Viet Nam’s reaction to the DPRK’s Satellite Kwangmyongsong-3 launching, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi on April 13 stated:
Viet Nam always wishes to see a Korean Peninsula of peace, stability and prosperity. We express our concern about the developments relating DPRK’s recent satellite launching. We once again emphasize the need to strictly comply with UNSC resolutions, especially Resolution 1874, for peace and stability in the region and the world. We continue to closely follow with interest the situation in the Korean Peninsula.
