Seminar discusses economic cooperation between Vietnam and Bolivia
(CPV/VOV) A seminar on trade and economic cooperation has been held at the Bolivian Foreign Ministry Office with the participation of 80 delegates from businesses and enterprises in Bolivia.
Among the participants were the Vietnamese Ambassador to Bolivia Nguyen Thac Dinh, the Bolivian Foreign Deputy Minister Pablo Guzman and the Head of the country’s Trade Promotion Agency Martin Lopez.
They presented each country’s socio-economic development and trade cooperation in recent years.
Bolivian participants said that relations did not reflect the two countries’ sound political ties.
The seminar showed that Vietnam could raise its export of shoes, rubber products, electronics, and computers to Bolivia while importing more iron, tin and gold ores, as well as wood from the country.
Bolivia’s Deputy Minister of Energy, Petrol and Oil Jorge Ortiz agreed with Ambassador Dinh to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of petrol and oil.
