Vietnamese embassy in UK celebrates National Day

The Vietnamese embassy in the United Kingdom held a meeting on August 24 to celebrate Vietnam’s 63rd National Day (September 2) anniversary.

Speaking at the meeting on August 24, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Tran Quang Hoan reviewed Vietnam’s achievements since President Ho Chi Minh’s declaration of independence on September 2, 1945.
 
The president of the Association for Vietnamese in the UK, Nguyen Duc Thanh, said Vietnamese nationals living in the UK always look back to the homeland and feel proud of the country’s achievements.
 
The President of the UK-Vietnam Friendship Society, Len Addis, expressed his belief that Vietnam will continue to reap more success under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. (VOV)
