Question: Could you give us Vietnam’s comment on the news that Mr. Taro Aso has been elected as Prime Minister of Japan?
Answer:
We wish to congratulate Mr. Taro Aso on his election as Prime Minister of Japan and hope that under his leadership, Japan will continue to strongly develop, making active contribution to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Vietnam believe that Prime Minister Taro Aso and the new Japanese cabinet will continue to make positive contribution to developing further the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Japan and moving towards a strategic partnership between them.
