Vietnam asks National Geographic Society to fix sovereignty error on its maps
In response to the media on March 13th regarding Vietnam's reaction to error on the world map series published by the National Geographic Society which marked "Paracel Is. China" for Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago of Vietnam, Foreign Ministry's Nguyen Phuong Nga said:
"Vietnam asserts its indisputabe sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelagos. The maps published by National Geographic have wrongly marked "Paracel Is. China". We ask that National Geographic fixes this error."
