+ Prize Awarding Ceremony For “ASEAN - A United and Prosperous Community” Quiz:
To mark Vietnam Chairmanship of ASEAN 2010, Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) hosted a Quiz, lasting from January 8 - 15 June 2010, under theme: “ASEAN: A United and Prosperous Community”. For 5 months, VOV has received enthusiastic responses of its audience throughout Vietnam and from overseas via tens of thousands of SMS, emails and mails. The Prize Awarding Ceremony will take place on July 19, 2010 in Ha Noi, sponsored by VOV and Vietnam National ASEAN Committee.
+ “Viet Nam – ASEAN: Imprints of the Past 15 Years” Photo Exhibition:
Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with Vietnam News Agency will organize a photo exhibition called “Viet Nam – ASEAN: Imprints of the Past 15 Years” at My Dinh National Convention Center from July 19 - 23, 2010 and at Ha Noi Opera House on August 7 2010 in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Vietnam's accession to ASEAN.
+ ASEAN Food Day August 8 2010:
To mark Vietnam Chairmanship of ASEAN 2010, the 43rd Anniversary of ASEAN (August 8 1967 – August 8 2010) and the 15th Anniversary of Vietnam's accession to ASEAN (July 28 1995 – July 28 2010), Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organize ASEAN Food Day as part of Vietnam-ASEAN Week (July 25 – August 8 2010) on Sunday August 8 2010 at Trung Nguyen Cafe (No 34 Dien Bien Phu Avenue, Hanoi.)
+ AMM 43/PMC/ARF 17 International Press Center:
The International Press Centre (IPC) for the 43rd ASEAN Ministerial Meeting (AMM-43), the Post Ministerial Conferences (PMC), the 17th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF-17) and related meetings will be located in National Convention Center, open from 8am to 10pm, July 16 - 23. The IPC provides the media with a common working space with Internet outlets for laptops, Internet-connected desktops, printers, telephones (domestic toll free), a 250 seat press conference hall, booths for foreign and Vietnamese media.
To date, more than 300 local reporters and around 430 foreign reporters have registered to cover the meetings. Members of the media will be offered the most favorable working conditions.
Free lunch will be served to all accredited media members at the Banquet Room (1st Floor) between 12 p.m and 2.00 p.m, July 17 - 23. Coupon is available to pick up at Information Desk.

Question: Please kindly provide Vietnam's reaction to the recent murder of a Vietnamese bride in the Republic of Korea?
Answer:
We are shocked at the tragic death of Mrs. Thach thi Hoang Ngoc and want to extend our condelences to her family.
The Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea upon receiving the news has promptly contacted ROK relevant agencies to fetch information about the case.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam immediately instructed the Embassy to request ROK relevant agencies to expeditiously investigate, conclude and strictly handle the case.
