Children’s drawing competition focuses on gender issues
The Nhi Dong (Children) newspaper, in collaboration with the European Commission delegation to Vietnam in central Da Nang city on March 10 launched a gender equality-themed drawing competition for children.
Primary school pupils between the ages of 8-10 nationwide and foreign children who live in Vietnam will have the opportunity to express their knowledge of gender equality issues and their wishes for a more equal society through their entries to the competition.
The competition is open from March 10 to April 30 this year.
The award ceremony will take place in Hanoi in May. The ten winning entries will be sent to Belgium for inclusion in a similar, gender equality-themed drawing competition, organised by the European Commission./.
