The website is based on the Vietnam-Laos special relationship of mountain to mountain, river to river as well as the traditional friendly relations between the two countries. The website therefore will focus on  information on the processes of consolidating and strengthening the traditional relationship, special solidarity and multisided comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, in order to promote mutual understanding of the two countries and peoples in the cause of national construction and development.
