Friendship meeting between Vietnam and Laos in Cuba

On July 24, representative offices of Vietnam and Laos in Cuba hold a friendship meeting on 30th anniversary of the treaty of friendship and cooperation and 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Laos.

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba, Pham Tien Tu, and Lao Ambassador to Cuba, Phouangkeo Langsy, emphasized important significance of the two historic landmark of time-honoured friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries during difficult time in the past as well as national construction at the present.

Lao Ambassador affirmed that Laotian people would stand shoulder to shoulder with Vietnam and are determined to preserve the relations forever.

On this occasion, two countries’ officials and students, who are working and studying in Cuba, held exchange activities including friendship football competition. (CPV)
